LINCOLN BREEDERS' ASSOCIATION.
An important meeting—and one in which special local pastoral interest is centred —was held at Palmerston North 'on Friday last. It was an informal gathering of Lincoln sheepbreeders, and the object of the meeting was to discuss the question of founding a New Zealand Lincoln Breeders' Association on the lines of the Romney Associaton. Mr J. G. Wilson, the well-known Mar.awatu breeder, was in the chair. It was generally thought that the time had arrived when a Lincoln Breeders' Association should be formed, and it was decided to appoint Messrs VV. H. Wybourne (Waverley), W. Ferry and D. McGregor, junr. (Masterton) a committee to circularise the various Lincoln breeders throughout New Zealand to ascertain what support was forthcoming. A further meeting is to be held at the next Spring Show at Falmerston North. It is probable that if the Association is formed the headquarters will be at MasterUrn,
