There was dull and cold weather today, for the"second day of the.Napier Park Racing Club's Winter Meeting, and the attendance waa moderate. The investments on the totalieator amounted to £5,809, making £11,198 for the two days, as compared with £12,609 tor last year's winter meeting. Results: — Brooklands Hack, six furlongs. Mundic, 11.7 1 Zoraida, 9.7 2 Rohepotae, 9.0 3 Also started—Timothy, Splash, The Limit, Cork, Resign, Master Stent. Won by three lengths. Time lmin 19 3-ssec. , Waihoki Hack Hurdles, one mile and a half. Diplomatic. 10.4 1 Rawhiti, 10.2 2 Forest, jlI.lO 3 Also started—Andrew Mack, Monsieur Beaucaire, Pukehou, No Snot.
Won by three lengths. Time. 2min 56 l-sseo. Winter Oats, seven furlongs, lranui, 10.2 1 Woodhey, 10.13 2 Illustrious, 9.4 3 Also started—Waikaraka, Inez, Uenuku, Mussel, Hydraulic. Won by six lengths pulling up. Time, lmin 34 3-ssec. Park Steeplechase, about two miles and a half. Lingerer, 10.7 1 Coy, 9.7 2 Needlework, 10.4 3 ' Also started—Post Haste 10.2, Eldorado 9.12, Gold Shower 9.7. Gold Shower had a strong lead for over a mile, when he was overtaken by Lingerer, who was not afterwards troubled, winning by twenty lengths. Eldorado fell, and Uold Shower unseated his jockey after being passed by Lingerer. Time, smin 36 l-ssec. Ladies' Bracelet, one mile.
