IMPORTANT UNRESERVED SALE OF PUREBRED AYRSHIRE CATTLE.
Dalgety and Company, Ltd., Palmerston North, wish to draw the special attention of visitors and all others interested in dairying to the auction sale of purebred Ayrshires. „4f&bch they are holding to-morrow (Saturday), June 26th, on account of Mr E. C. Bensemann, of Taonui, near Feilding. This herd was originated by the purchase of twenty heifers and one bull from that wellknown Ayrshire breeder, Mr S. W. Luxford, of Awapuni. Mr Bensemann has, during the last seven years, devoted the whole of his most careful attention to this breed of cattle, and no expense has been spared in introducing some of the best blood in New Zealand into the herd, which at present ranks as one of the best in the Dominion. Expert dairymen are strong in the opinion that the Ayr- .- shires are most suitable for cheese '"Tbaking purposes, and they are without doubt most adapted for milking bU machinery. Mr Bensemann's sole for selling is owing to the expiration of his Jease, and as the ■whole is to be sold absolutely without reserve, this opportunity should strongly recommend itself to all those in search of high class cattle.
