RACING. NAPIER PARK RACES. By Telegraph—Press Association. NAPIER. June 23. The Winter Meeting of the Napier Park Racing Club opened to-day. Fine weather was enjoyed, and there was a large attendance. The sum of ,£5.389 was passed through the totalisator, as compared with £6,343 on the first day of the last Winter Meeting. Thirteen bookmakers were en the ground; seven in the outside enclosure, at a fee of £lO each; and six inside, at £2O 10s each. Results:— Moteo Hack Hurdles, one and three quarter miles.
