Dr. Ghani, head of the India Educational Department in Afghanistan, who was arrested and put on trial on charge of complicity in a plot against the Ameer, hus been acquitted. A TERRIBLE DEATH. Received June 22, 10.30 a.m. BRISBANE, June 22. A mailman, blinded by flies, wandered for nine days in the bush around Bourke town. He v&as then rescued, but died shortly afterwards.
