A dispute m the tailoring trade was before the Conciliation Commissioner this morning. The workmen have asked for a new provision stating weekly hands, and that the minimum wage of £2 10s bs raised. The employers' representative said that the primary matter for consideration was the de sire of the employers that the log bfe done away with, and an hourly system substituted. The employers would not agree to the men's demands, and the dispute was sent to the Arbitration Court.
