THREE CENTURIES SCORED
LONDON, June 18. The match of the Australian cricketers against the West of Scotland eleven was continued to-day, in fine weather. The visitors were at-the wicket nearly all day, and gave a remarkably fine batting display. Three centuries were scored —Hartigan 115 Macartney 124, and Bardsely ICB.. The innings closed for 576 runs. Shortly before closing time the Scottish team went in for the second time, and when stumps were drawn 10 runs were on the board without loss".

Received June 20, 5 p.m. LONDON, June 19. West of Scotland, in their second innings, made 144. The Australians thus won by an innings and 188 runs. The weather was fine, and the attendance numbered six thousand. LONDON, June 18. Playing for his county (Gloucestershire) against Hants, Jessop scored 161 runs in.ninety-five minutes.
