THE AGE CUP.
RAMBLERS v. KIWI.
An interesting game was played on the Showgrounds at Carter to yesterday afternoon, between the Kiwi (Dalefield) and Ramblers (Masterton). The Ramblers, who were without their best team, did not play up to form, and Kiwi, a fast improving team, were able to make a draw of it, there being no score. Misses K. O'Leary, Easthope, N. O'Leary, Kyle, and Duggan were the pick of the Ramblers, while the Kiwis played a good combined game. Mr Bannin was referee. The Masterton team were entertained at afternoon tea by the Kiwis. HUIa v. KIA TO A. The Kia Toa Club defeated Huia on the Lansdowne Ground, yesterday afternoon, by three goals to nil. Mr C. Carley was referee. __ WAIRARAPA ASSOCIATION. SEMIOR COMPETITION. W.F.C.A. v. CARTERTON. The Senior hockey match played under the auspices of the Wairarapa Hockey Association, yesterday, was W.F.C.A. v. Carterton, on the Masterton Showgrounds. The match was a very fast and even une, and ended in a win for Carterton by three goals tojnil, E. Tunnicliffe (2) and K. King being responsible for the scores. For Carterton W. Fisher, W. Morgan, S. Sievers and R. Reid were the most prominent, and for W.F.C.A. Pragnell, W. Minett, and H. Richards were the pick, while H. Hall in goal was very safe. The teams were as follow :—Carterton—Fullbacks, J. Fisher and G. Tunnicliffe; five-eighth, W Morgan; halves, Sievers, Petersen, Eagle; forwards, J. A. Fisher, R. King, W. Fisher, E. Tunnicliffe and R. Reid.. W.F.C.A. —Goal, H. Hall; full-backs, Hendry and Smith; halves, Richards, Pragnell, Scrimgeour; forwards, Hatch, Grange, Dickson, Whitt, Minett. Mr F.B. Rosson made efficient referee.
JUNIOR. KNOX v. W.F.G.A. On the Showgrounds, gW.F.C.A. 1 Juniors defeated Knox Juniors by 2 goals to 1 goal. For the winners Thynne, W. Williams. Barr, uummins and Parker, flayed we'll, and for Knox Ball, Barry, Berry, Wing, Harding, and Cole, were most prominent. The goals were scored by Thynne (2) for W.F.C.A., and R. Harding for Knox. Mr O'Meara was referree, and gave every satisfaction. The following will rarapa against Wellington, at Carterton, on Thursday next:—Goal. H. Hal! (W.F.C.A.); full backs, G. Tunnicliffe (Carterton), and J. Fisher ; half backs, N. Boyd (Knox), G. Sievers (Carterton),' Morgan (Carterton); forwards, Reid (Carterton), Minett (W.P.C.A.), W. Fisher (Carterton), J.
