Special Advertisements. BOROUGH OF MASTERTON. THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION ACT. THE LOCAL BODIES LOAN ACT. THE Masterton Borough Council hereby gives public notice that it proposes to raise : - A Special Loan of twelve thousand pounds for the purpose of construction and improvement of the roads and footpaths in the principal business and residential streets of the Borough, conditionally upon the combined rate of interest and sinking fund not exceeding .£6 per centum per annum, and for such pin-pose to make an annually recurring special rate of .50d in tho £ upon the whole of the unimproved rateable property within the said Borough as security for the interest and sinking fund in connection with such loan. The whole of the said loan is to be repaid on the 31st day of December 1942It is proposed to pay out of the loan monies the cost of raising the loan and the first year's interest thereon during the construction of the works. And further notice is hereby given that a meeting of the ratepayers of the Borough will be held in the Town Hall, Lincoln Road, Masterton, on Friday, tne 25th day of June next, at 8 o'clock p.m., to consider the said proposal.
