HOCKEY.

At the meeting of the Management Committee of the Wairarapa Hockey Association on Monday evening last la letter was received from the I Taranaki Association in reference to I a visit from a team from that Association at a latter date. If sufficient support is forthcoming drags will run to Carterton on June 24th, the occasion of the WairarapaWelhngton hockey match. A meeting of ladies and men will be held on Friday evening to make arrangements in connection with a social and dance to be held in aid of the found of the Wairarapa Hockey Association. On June 24th, all matches under the Wairarapa Hockey Association will be postponed on account Of the representative fixture at Carterton. A match of more than ordinary interest will be played on the Showgrounds on Thursday, when W.F.C.A. and Carterton meet in the senior competition. The Hinemoa Club, Carterton, have forfeited their match with the Masterton District High School. The following will represent Knox Juniors against W.F.C.A. on the Showgiounds:—.J Berry, A. Barry, R. Harding, W. Hornblow, P. Church W. Flaws, C. Cole, C. Voyce, . S. Ball, 0. Ibbetson, L. Person. Emergencies ; Tonquist and Bennett. The following is the Wairarapa Hockey Association fixtures for tomorrow : Senior*— W.F.C.A.-Carterton, on Showgrounds; referee, Mr Rosson. Junior—W.F.C.A.-Knox, on Showgrounds; referee, Mr Mcintosh. Carterton A-Carterton B, at Carterton; referee, Mr O'Meara.
