GERMANY AND HER NAVY.
Received June 15, 10 p.m. BERLIN, June 15. ° Grand Admiral von Koester, addressing the Brandenburg section of the German Navy League, at Potsdam, declared that Germany Was taking her place as the second stronggat of the European nations on ths sea. ''Let them strive to keeD the position in view of the navy's importance to the development of the Fatherland and economic interests,'" said the Admiral. The meeting telegraphed to the Kaiser requesting a promise to agitate for the strengthening of the fleet with a view to making it a mighty instrument for the protection of the Fatherland, and the maintenance of peace.
