TASMANIAN POISONING CASE.

Received June 14, 10.15 a.m. HOBART, June 14. The man Attwell has been sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment in connection with the death of the girl Langdale by poison.

The girl, in a fit of despair over opposition raised to her marriage, commift d suicide by taking strychnine. Attwell, her lover, on hearing, of the girl's death, also poisoned himself, and was for some time in a critical condition.
