I The Proprietors of Wolfe's Schnapps have determined to institute proceedings, which will be carried to the utmost extent allowed by law, against anyone refilling their bottles with other spirit and retailing it under the name of MtWihiliWl As offenders may be ignorant of the very serious risk they are incurring, attention is hereby called to the Act of Parliament of New Zealand, "The Patents' Designs and Trade Marks Act, 1908," under which any person who encloses anyvgoods in any covering (which includes any bottle) to which a trade mark has been applied shall be liable on conviction on indictment to imprisonment with or without hard labour for not over two years or to fine, or to both imprisonment and fine.
