MAJOR CUP.

KNOX v. W.F.C.A. A match was playes on the Showgrounds yesterday afternoon between the Knox and W.F.C.A. teams. A .fast and interesting game resulted in a draw, each side scoring a goal. Hatch scored for W.F.C.A., and Griffiths fur Knox. Mr O'Meara was referee. JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. KNOX v. CARTERTON. Knox defeated Carterton on the Masterton Showgrounds by 2 goals to 1. L. Boyd scored for the winners, and Dewdney for Carterton. Messrs White and Mcintosh were referees. W.F.C.A, v. CARTERTON B. W.F.C.A. had an easy win over Carterton B, at Carterton, by 8 goals to nil. Parker (3), La Roche, Cummings, and Potter scored the goals. In all probability a representative hockey match between Wellington and Wairarapa will be played in j Masterton on June 24th. The matter will be discussed at the meeting of the Committee of the Wairarapa Hockey Association on Monday evening next.
