COALMINING DISPUTES.
ROYAL COMMISSION IN SYDNEY. WITHDRAWAL OF CLAIMS. Received June 9, 10.10 a.m. SYDNEY, June 9. The sittings of the Royal Commission on coalmining disputes were resumed yesterday. Counsel for the miners announced that the men intend to withdraw all their claims, chiefly because of the delay which had taken place over the hearing of cases, and the want of guarantee that there would not be similar delay in dealing with other claims, which might mean waiting for one or'two years. The commission adjourned till the 28th inst. to await developments.
