THE Masterton Borough Council hereby gn r es public notice that it to raise: - A Special Loan o* twelve thousand ..pounds for the purpose of construction, and improvement of the roads and footpaths in the principal business and residential streets of the Borough, conditionally upon the combined rate of interest and sinking fund not exceeding J£6 per centum per annum, and for such to mate an annually recurring "special rate of .50d in the £ upon the whole of the unimprovel rateable property within the said Borough as security for the interest and sinking fund in connection with such loan. The whole of the said loan i 3 to be repaid on the 31st day of December 1942' It i 3 proposed to pay out of the loan monies the cost of raising the loan and the first year's interest thereon during the construction of the works.
