conference has been convened bv the Manawatu and West Coast and Pastoral Associa- / tifon, and the following Societies have jj notified that they will be repre'seated-: Auckland, Bush Districts, Feeding, Hawera, Hawke's Bay, Woodville, Horowhenua, Manawatu =and West Coast, Mastcrton, Waira* s?apa, and Wanganui. The agenda paper is as follows! From the Hawke's Bay A. and P» ■Association:— That the Conference draw up a schedule stating what privileges shaSl be granted at shows to:—1. Public Officials. 2. Exhibitors. 3. Visiting officials of other A. and P. Societies. 4. Judges—including a •uniform system pf fees, and that all Societies be furnished with a copy of such schedule and asked to abide by its terms. Horowhenua A. and P. Association. — 5. That a list of competent judges' in all stock classes be prepared and the same be forwarded to the secretary of the different Associations to enable the Committee to choose the judges from the said list. 6. That a judge's Judging card bo har.ded to each judge which should define the points that he should be compelled to judge the different classes on; by this uiaans a universal system of judging would take place, and give general satisfaction to the competitors. 7. That if possible padlars and hawkers who have no business in the town in which shows are held, be not allowed to sdl their merchandise on the show grounds, as by doing so, tbey do an injustice to the loc?' tradespeople, who support the,./' ciation.
