Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At Eketahuna on Friday, we had a large yarding of sheep, and with the exception of one pen of ewe j in lamb made a total clearance. Cattle were in excess of advertised numbers, and a total clearance was also effected. Sheep:—Shorn lambs 7s Bd, cull lambs 3s 7d to 4s 3d, ewes in lamb 10s 6d, empty ewes 7s Id. Cattle. —Three-year steers £3 5s to £4 17s 6d, 18 months steers £2 6s, yearling steers 36s to 38s, fat heifers £3 6s Bd, forward cows £2.
