The second day's racing of the Auckland Racing Club's Great Northern Steeplechase Meeting took place at Ellerslie this afternoon. Results : Orakei Hurdle Race—D. McKinnon's Cymri, 10.6, Deeley, 1; Leo, 9.8, O'Connell, 2; Pleiades, 9.0, Speakman, 3. Also started—Tui Cakobau 9.7, Carlyle 9.6, Heather 9.3, Red McGregor 9.0, Waikato 9.8. Won by six lengths. Ranfurly Welter, 1 mile—Dawson and Waller's Michaeloff, 9.0, J. Percival, 1; Starboard, 9.5, Pierce. 2; Rimlock, 9.7, Ryan, 3. Also started—Valentine 9.13, Escamillo 9.12, Miss Advance 9.10, Zinnia 9.5, Cyroma, 9.3, Dainty 9.0, Castle Blaney 9.0. Won by a length. Remuera Hurdle Race —A. F. Douglas'Waipu, 10.9.
