A referendum will be taken next week in Natal upon the question of the colony accepting the Constitution drafted by the delegates of the South African States. Received June 6, 4 p.m. Capetown, June 5. The Legislative Council of Cape Colony has adopted the draft of the South African Union Constitution. Sir John De Villiers, President of the Council, announced that Lord Selbourne had intimated that amendments benefiting South Africa might be made in the schedule.
