It has been reported to the police that during last night burglars visited Mr Willis' residence at Randwick and attempted to break opeh a safe. Some hours elapsed before the Inmates of the cottage realised that Willis' condition was serious. It was then found that he had two minor stab wounds, apparently inflicted by a knife, two inches from the middle of the breast on the'left side.
