FOOTBALL.
A match played on the Showgrounds, yesterday afternoon, between the St. Johns (Wellington) and Knox (Masterton) teams resulted in a win for the former by 13 points to 8. For St. Johns tries were scored by Duske and Crawford. Dyeet kicked a penalty goal and converted the tries. For Knox H. Tocker and A. Thompson sc.ired tries, H. Clarke converting one. Mr N. McEwen was referee. The following will represent Te Ore Ore juniors against Dalefield, at Masterton to-morrow:— King, C. Ellis, Sunny, T. Ellers, Marten, Thompson, Bannister, Short, Kura, Bentley, Heke Reri, Bentley, Rzoska, Walters, Narbey; emergencies, Arckie, Rautu. St. Augustine's Club defeated St. Matthew's Club at Petone yesterday by 9 points to 3. Trinity Young Men's Bible Class defeated the Methodist Bible Class (Masterton) at Wellington yesterday by 14 points to nil.
