RESOLUTION OP W.C.T>tL By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, Junefc. The Women's Christian Temftei?* ance Uninn (Purity Branch) has passed the following resolution:— "We express indignation at thd shocking immorality in this city, as testified by the leading medical men, the Coroner and officials of the Women's Protection Society, ardt expresses horror at the facts revealed in a recent inquest on a young woman that persons in this city are carrying on a shameful trade. The Union endorses the opinion expressed by Dr. Siedeberg re the enactiru of stringent laws in respect \o illegitimacy and to able trade in infant life, and the death of girls. The Union recon - mends that women detectives be employed to track down persons engaged in this terrible business, and laws should be enforced to inflict the severest penalties."
