STOCK MARKET.
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., reort as follows on their fortnightly sale at their Masterton yards yester day:—We offered a real representative yarding uf all classes of stock. Sheep were represented bv all classes including lambs, ewes in lamb, and wethers, and we effected a total clearance of all sheep offered. In regard to cattle a good yarding of good cattle came forward, and a total clearance was also effected, Cows in calf were well competed for. We quote as follows:—Sheep: 4 and 6tooth ewes, lis Id to 13s 3d; f.m. ewes, lis 3d to 13s; lambs, 6s Bd, 7s, 7s 4d, 7s 8d rather backward in condition; 2-tooth wethers, 10s 4d to 10s 7d; fat and forward ewes,, 8s 9d to 10s 3d. Figs: Slips from 8s 3d to 10s 3d. Cattle: 3-year steers to £5 ss; 2|-year, off steers, £4 15s; 20-month to 2-year steers, £3; cows in calf up to £»; fat cows, £3 to £5; store cows,. £2 2s 6d to £3; mother reared weaners, 3Gs to 38s.
