DISQUIETING REPORTS. ADVANCE OF TURKISH TROOPS. MASSACRE OF CHRISTIANS. United Press Association -By Electric Telegrap Copyright. Received June 2, 8.35 a.m. TEHERAN, June 1. The Russians' alleged usurpation of civil authority at Tabriz le d Sata Khan, Begir Khan, and other Nationalist leaders, to take refuge in the Turkish Consulate. They were refused admission to the British Consulate. Disquieting reports have reached Teheran regarding the advance of Turkish regulars towards Urumiah, in Northern Persia. It is stated that many Christians at Maindoab (?) have been massacred. The Armenians are appealing for protection.
