MARITIME STRIKE.
INTERRUPTION OF STEAMER SERVICE. SERIOUS SHORTAGE OF FOOD. Received June 1, 8.45 a.m. PARIS, May 31. The French Government will supply seamen from the navy to work the steamers trading from Marseilles, which'are rendered idle owing to the maritime strike. There i 3 a serious shortage of imported food in Corsica, owing to the interruption of the steamer services.
