PROPOSED REDUCTION. United Press Association—By Bleotric Telegraph Copyright, Received May 29, 8.45 a.m. LONDON, May 28. The colliery owners have asked for a reduction of lh per cent, in wages, and the men are willing to accept 5 per cent. Lord Collins, late Master of the Rolls, has been appointed umpire. The Durham Coal Conciliation Board has decided that wages should not be altered for three months.
