PERSONAL.
Yesterday morning Mr Murray J. H. Jackson, had the misfortune tc meet with a rather severe accidenl 'whilst cycling in Church street. Th« front wheel of the machine skiddec * and the rider was thrown heavily t; the ground. Assistance was quickly £t hand, and it was found that Mi —Jackson was suffering from serious injury. Subsequently the injurec man was driven home by Mr P. L. -Hollings in his motor car. He was by Dr. Archer Hosking, ;and on examination it was found -that the left hip was fractured. Or •enquiry last evening it was fount 'that Mr Jackson was progressing a! > satisfactorily as could be expected.
