The sum of £10,016 was put through the totalisator, as against £9,319 for the corresponding day last year. The total for the meeting was £19,332, as against £18,793 last year. The fees from the bookmakers amounted to £725. Results: Winter Oats—lrish Rifle 1, Eallarat 2, Hermia 3. Scratched—Mon Ami, Waikaraka and Montpelier. Won easily by a length. Time, lmin 17 3-ssec. A good race. Won by a neck. Time, 2min Isec. Rata Hack Hurdles.—Auratus 1, Nova 2, Waione 3. Scratched—Stayboy, Moscow and Burton. Won by three lengths. Time, 3min 6 3-ssec.
