UNWELCOME VISITORS.
JAPANESE AT MARSHALL ISLANDS. CONSTERNATION CREATED. Received May 24, 10.13 a.m. SYDNEY, May 24. Consternation has been created at Joluit, in the Marshall Islands, by the discovery that a number of Japanese were living on the outlying inlet of Caspar Rica. They state that they have been there for three years, collecting birds, fishes etc. and awaiting a steamer to return to Japan. Their landing is a breactfof the German laws, and the Governor has gone to investigate.
