THE BURNS-JOHNSON PICTURES.
At the Town Hall, Masterton, tomorrow evening, the pictures showing the struggle between Johnson and Burns for the heavyweight championship of the world will be exhibited. Referring to their exhibition in the North, a con temporal y says:—"The art of making living pictures has been brought to such a high degree of perfection during the last year or so, that it is hard to say much more in their favour than that they are one of the most popular means of entertainment at the present day. Living icturea would not be in such demand were they depicted with a bad machine. The gentleman in chsrge of the projection apparatus with this company, undoubtedly understands his business. The pictures shine forth clearly, and are particularly free from flicker. In addition to the a fine film descriptive of Italy's wonderful cavalry is also shown.'' The pictures will also be shown at Pahiatua this (Tuesday) evening, and at Carterton on ThursI day.
