CHILD DROWNED IN A WELL.
By Telegraph—Press AssociationTAIHAPE, May 22. A child named Violet Mary Foster, aged three years, was drowned in a well near a house at Utiku yesterday. She had only been missing five minutes. Life was not extinct when the body was recovered, but the ciild died before a doctor arrived. The father is a labourer.
