Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their fortnightly sale at their Mastertoa , Yards yesterday as follow:—We offered a yarding of about 3,000 sheep. Buyers were present from all parts of tire Wairarapa, and demand for all good classes of sheep and cattle was keen. Owing to the recent advances in the price of fat sheep, good wethers were eagerly sought after. A line of first-class 2 and 4-tooth wethers on account of H. T. Hume. Esq., Aobanga, making the record price of lis 6d. We report as follows:—4, 6 and 8-tooth ewes 12s; 2-tooth ewes in lamb, 12s 3d; and 4-tooth wethers, lis 6d; 2-tooth wethers lis; lambs, 8s to 8s 6d; small Hack face wethers, 10s 4d to 10s 6d: fat wethers, 12a 9d; aged dwes in lamb, 8s 4d to 9s 6d; 2 tooth black face ewes, 10s 6d; fat and forward ewes, 10s 9d. Cattle: 3-year-steers, £5 Is; 2£-year steers, £4 lis; cows and calves, £2 18s; leaner steer's and heifers,2Bs to SOsj 2J-year steers, £3 Is; weaner calves; §2fi 6d;- 18-month steers, £2 10s to" £'3. .
