STRIKE IN PARIS.
LABOUR UNIONS URGED TO CEASE WORK. OUTCOME OF THE POSTAL TUOUBLE. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright. Received May 19, 10.15 p.m. PARIS. May 19. On behalf of a small remnant of workm:n in the same category as the postal strikers and also in order to secure besides the reinstatement cf the dismissed concession of the original demands, the extremists goaded the committee of the General Confederation of Labour into inviting a general strike. The committee accordingly issued, urging tfW U-ade>r,ionti to immediately strike. The members of the Carpenters Masons and Labourers Union in Paris have responded to the appeal, and have gone out on strike. A Government Bill which is to be introduced authorises that State servants mav fombine tor professional purposes, but forbids affiliation with non-State workers unions.
