What About tHe Future of that Boy of Yours? TmATHEK do you remember the time JJ when you were a boy ?—How you liked fun—quite often at the oxpense of your work ? Do you remember how often and easily you would disappear from the house and just as suddenly appear with the "gang?' Perhaps you did not know how many ieartacnes, headaches and sleepless nights you gate your father and mother. Do you want your boy to follow the same tracks, do the same things you did, and cause the same heartaches that you caused your father and mother ? Your boy's actions right now ■ are a problem to you. He's " learning things" —snrking, swearing, drinking, gambling —yes, ani worse tlrngs, and you 'don't Know how- to stop it— Lecturing.. Scoldings and Thrashings won't do it--they only drive him further into it. YOUfi HOY MUST DO SOMETHING IN HIS SPAKE TIME. > - And unless he is put in the way of doing the best things he's more than apt to do the worst things. If you see to it that his spare time is occupied with something useful, semething that ho likes to do, your, troubles so tar as your b:>y is concerned will bo over. When you were a boy The Y.SVi.C.A. was not so well known as it is now. It was not so well equipped and organised for helping boys and young men to become MEN, so you probably don't know quite as much about the Association as you ought to know, and we want to tell you if you are interested enough in your . boy's—or some other hpy's—future, to come and let us show ycu. You owe it to yourself—to your boy—to the boy's mother and to your town to at least find out what '.ve are doing for Masteiton's boys and young men and what we are ready to do for your boy. _ It will be worth many times the price of your boy's membership in the Y.M.C.A. merely for you to know that he is being trained into a red-blooded, fully-developed MaN who can make a success of life—do things worth while. Lack of the necessary funds prevents the Association from equipping its xooms as completely as they desire, and the success of its work is retarded in consequence. A rapidly increasing membership, and the starting of fresh classes is forcing upon the Association an extension of lihe premises, and an effort is being made to raise a sufficient sum to carry ithe work to early completion. If you are willing to help a deserving object and we are confident you recognise the good woik ibeing done by the Y.M.C.A., then fill in the following form stating the amount you desire to contiibute and return it to the secretary. I will contribute the sum of to the Y.M.C.A. Fund.
