DIVIDED COUNSELS. PROPRIETARY COMPANY'S OFFER. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright. ADELAIDE, May 15. Members of the Combinedj Unions employed in the smelting works at Port Pirie, with the advice of Tom Mann and other leaders, decided to accept the Proprietary Company's offer to return to work. Subsequently a telegram from Broken Hill stated that a mass meeting ot the Combined Unions at the Barrier repudiated the Port Pirie Union's decision. There is a strong feeling amongst a section of men at the Barrier over Mann's action. On the other band it is stated that many men are desirous of returning to work on the company's terms. Another mass meeting is to be held to-day.
