THE POSTAL STRIKE.
HUNDRED EMPLOYEES DISMISSED. THE PREMIER CONFIDENT. United Press Association—By Klectric Telegraph Copyright. Received May 14, 8.30 a.m. PARIS, May 13. A hundred postal employees were dismissed in Paris to-day. M. CJemenceau, the Premier, is confident that the movement will collapse.

PARIS, May£l4."~ During the Chamber of Deputies on the postal strike the Socialists started singing the revolutionary air "International." A great uproar ensued, lasting some time. The Chamber adjourned at 4 o'clock. Otherwise the debate was uneventful. M. Barthou (Minister for Public Works) stated that 2,357 of the 24,115 postal employees are now on strike. A vote of confidence in the Government was carried by 365 to 159.
