LONDON COUNTY COUNCIL LOAN.
IMMENSE APPLICATION. Received May 14, 8.15 a.m. LONDON, May 13. There is an immense application for the new London County Council 3£ per cent, loan of £2,500,000. It is estimated that the .deposits pending allotment will cause a temporary lock-up of cash to the extent of four to six millions sterling.
