OTAKI NOMINATIONS. Nominations for all events except the Maiden Flat and Final Hack Scurry, to be run at the Otaki Maori Racing Club's winter meeting 'cat June 3rd and 4th next, close with the secretary, Mr Hema R. Te Otaki, at 8.30 o'clock to-night The telegraph office at Otaki is closed at 5 p.m. By Telegraph—Press Association. ASHBURTON, May 13. The Ashburton County Racing Club's Autumn Meeting was concluded to-day. Results:— Moreton Hack Handicap—Claymore 1, British Peer 2, Umeraboy 3. Montreal, Gunboat and Salaam were scratched. Winchmore Welter—Field Gtn I, North Pole 2, De Witte 3. Rcscotmon was scratched. Autumn Handicap.—Sea King I* Dabchick 1, Lady Disdain 3. The start was unsatisfactory, Sea King getting a decided advantage over Dabchick, who maintained the lead and won easily by four lengths. Juvenile Hack—Gunboat 1, Honthreai 2, Boutade 3. Disposal Handicap-Salaam I, Benzol ine 5?, Millionaire 3, All started. Wakanui Handicap.—llarita 1, British Peer 2, Passion 3. Claymore was scratched. Ihe totalisator receipts for the meeting were £6,409, as aeainat £7,825 last year.
