THE BRITISH DREADNOUGHTS. MAKING OF GUN MOUNTINGS. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright, Received May 13, 10.30 p.m. LONDON, May 13. The Right Hon. R. McKenna (First Lord of the Admiralty), in reply to a question in the House of Commons, said that he had promised on March 16th to order the parts and mountings for four Dreadnoughts to be placed immediately, none had yet been placed. He added that at present only two firms in Britain make gun mountings. '' Mr T. Healy (National M.P. for Louth North) sarcastically suggested that the Government phould apply to Krupps.
