With regard to the voting papers with the names of the gentlemen nominated for a general ommittee for the Pahiatua-Akitio A. and P. Association, one of the names that reads as A. Barron should read as A. Barrell. Mr Barrell is one of the oldest residents of this district, and it 13 to be hoped that the error on the voting paper will not debar hi-' being elected on the committee. There are exhibited in the window of Mr Tracy P. business premises here some decidedly interesting'photographs showing the remarkable cures from baldness that have been effected through the agency of Brice's Regenerator. The photographs show the various stages of hair growth on practically bald heads that followed upon the use of the Regenerator, and as the photographs are certified to by a leading Christchurch photographer as having been taken direct from the negatives without retouching, their genuineness is beyond dispute. The Sydney "Referee," commenting on Arnsst's decision to row on the Wanganui, says: The decision of the champion appears a wise one. Had he decided to race on the Parramatta, good weather could, with any luck, be relied on during May, whilst training, but, with nearly everyone here a supporter of the champion, there would have been little or no betting. If Akaroa had been chosen, the weather and water could not have been relied upon at this time of the year, whilst Arnst would probably be a strong favourite. At "Wanganui the weather may be wet or cold, or both, but in the sheltered reaches up the river good water for training can nearly always be had. Furthermore, at Wanganui, it is more likely that there will be fairly close betting, for, despite Webb's defeat, his many admirers will be sure to back him again. W;The name of AYLMER'S, WiJLs e* Wellington, is synonymous with perff. - tion in the art of Millinery.
