SUICIDE OF A YOUNG WOMAN.
By Telegraph—Press Association. THAMES, May 10. An inquest regarding the death of Elsie Johnston, found drowned in the Kauaerenga River, elicited the fact that deceased left a note addressed to her family, expressing her determination to end it all. Her home life had been happy and comfortable. She wanted for nothing. A verdict of suicide whilst temporarily insane was returned. Some years ago a cousin of the woman drowned herself at almost the same spot.
