A MARATHON RACE.
GOOD TIMES RECORDED. Received May 10, 9.35 a.m. LONDON, May 9. Sixty competitors started from Windsor for Stamford Bridge, in tin Marathon race for the "Sporting Life's" challenge trophy, value £SOO, to be held for twelve months. Barrett, of the Polytechnic Club, arrived first, in 2hr 42min 31sec; Lord, of the Wembley i J ark Club, being second, in 2hr 44nin 33sec; and Green, of the Sutton Club, third, in 2hr 49min lsec.
