SYDNEY, May 8. The Anglican Synod will meet on 25th May to select a successor to the late Archbishop Saumarez Smith. Among the names mentioned for the office are those of the Archbishop of Brisbane (Right Rev. St. C. Donaldson); Archdeacon Wright; Canon Thompson, of Birmingham; Canon Alexander, of St. Paul's, London; and Dr. Thomas, Principal of Wycliffe Hall, Ox-ford.
