Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows: —At Eketahuna, on Friday, we had a good yarding of sheep, and a fair one of cattle, and had on the whole a very good sale, a considerable number of outside buyers being present. We quote Lambs from 5s 9d to 9s, ewes in lamb 8s 4d to 10s 4d, cull ewes 5s to 6s, fat and forward wethers lis Id, fat cows £4, 2£-year steers £3 9s 6d, 18-month steers £2 10s, heifers in calf 38s to £3 Is, empty yearling heifers 34a Kd, forward cows £2 8s 6d. cows in calf £2 15s 6d.
