RACE FOR DREADNOUGHTS.
ADDITIONS TO KRUPP'S WORKS. LONDON, May t The "Pall Mall Gazette," commenting on Germany's race for Dreadnoughts, states that Krapp's works at Essen have ten pits lor the trial of heavy gunmountings, enabling them to construct gunmountings sufficient for six Dreadnoughts annually. Krupp's are adding eight .further pits, enabling them to fit eleven Dreadnoughts. The British Government, the "Gazette" adds, is unaware of the extent of the additions to Krupp's plant.
