The trouble over the amateur question, and the proposed disqualification of "Snowy" Baker as a footballer owing l to his disqualification by a sports club as a professional boxer culminated in the leading officials of the New South Wales Rugby Union declaring tbat the Union would never disqualify a player simply because he was a professional in another sport„
