ROBBERY AT A RAILWAY STATION.
Received May 6, 8.30 a.m. SYDNEY. May 6. Kerr has'been arrested and charged with stealing the money from the sate at the Marrickville Railway Station. A cablegram yesterday morning stated that early on Wednesday morning Kerr, night officer at the Marrickville Railway Station, was found gagged aiid bound. He stated that hearing a kno± he opened the door and received a blow. . A man entered, and in the struggle which followed a second man appeared. After gagging and binding Kerr they rifled the safe of £2B in coin and stamps, relieved Kerr of two gold watches and his cash, and decamped.
