CORONATION OATH.
AN ORANGE PROTEST. Received May 6, 10.40 a.m. SYDNEY, May 6. At a large meeting of Orangemen, a resolution was passed opposing Mr Redmond's Bill for the. amendment of the King's bath on his accession. It was decided to cable the protest to Mr Asquith, British Prime Minister. MOTOR CYCLING (Taken from Christchurch Press March 20th, 1909.) Mr R. English, who officiated as judge in connection with the Motor Cycle Reliability Trial, the Hillclimbing competition and Petrol Consumption Test, recently held by the Christchur.ch Cycle and Motor Club, has made the following awards:— For Reliability—Private Owners' Class: C. E. Baily, 3£ Triumph, Ist; A. Beaken, 3\ Triumph, 2nd; A. Marsden, 4A Triumph, 3rd. Open Class: W. L. Blundell, 33; Triumph, Ist; F. llawarth, 2nd; C. E. Bailey, 3% Triumph, 3rd.
