Messrs Abraham andf Williams, Ltd., report on their P.F.A. sale as follows: —We offered a good yarding of both sheep and cattle, and there was a large attendance of buyers. Sheep showed an improvement in prices, and late cattle rates were we\ maintained. We quote:—Sheep.— Two-tooth wethers, 8s 6d,"9s lOd, 10s 8d; fat and forward wethers, 10s 8d; 2tooth ewes in lamb, 10s Id, 10s lid, lis 6d; full mouth ewes in lamb, 8s 9d, 9s 7d, 10s; cull ewes, 4s Id, 6s 3d; lambs, 6s 9d, 7s 3d, 8s 3d; woolly lambs, 8s 7d. Cattle. —Fat cows, £3 6s to £4 4s; fat heifers, £4 ss; cows in calf, £2 to ±'2 12s; store cows, good, £2 10s; others, 32s to 42s Gd; forward cows, £3; heifers in calf, 35s to 455; 18-months heifers, 30s; mixed yearlings, 27s 6d; 18-months steers, £2 Gs to £3; 2-year steers, £3 lis; 3year steers, £4 5s to £4 8s; 4-year bullocks. £5 ss, £5 15s, £5 17s 6d.
